Carpigiani brings the world of frozen desserts and fine pastry to Host Milano 2025.

An immersion in the world of frozen desserts through international experiences and cutting-edge technologies: this is what Carpigiani, a leading manufacturer of solutions for gelato, ice cream, soft serve, and pastry, will offer at HOSTMilano 2025 (October 17–21, Rho Fieramilano) in Hall 7.

Among the highlights and real novelties of HOSTMilano is the event dedicated to artisanal ice cream, a US tradition with physical and organoleptic characteristics that differ from Italian artisanal gelato and with a centuries-old history. The events with the professors of the Frozen Dessert University of Chicago are scheduled for October 17 at 12:00 p.m. and October 21 at 2:00 p.m.

The second new feature is the focus on “Affogato,” an international trend that combines espresso and artisanal gelato, which has gone viral on social media. The star of the event on October 19 at 2:30 p.m. will be Silvana Vivoli, master gelato maker from Florence and founder of the first Affogato Bar. Vivoli will tell the story of the famous affogato created by her mother in the 1960s and back in fashion in recent years thanks to influencers: gelato in a cup with coffee, now so iconic that it deserves its own dedicated store.

On October 18 at 2:00 p.m., master pastry chef Fabrizio Fiorani will showcase two iconic desserts that go “beyond whipped cream.” Thanks to his skilled hands, tiramisu and cheesecake will be reinterpreted with his creativity and made using Nuvia, the new eco-friendly countertop machine for whipped cream, mousse, and semifreddo, which uses natural CO₂ gas to ensure sustainability and maximum energy efficiency.
