Gelatissimo 2026: An Edition Full of Novelties

Gelatissimo, the leading event for the artisanal gelato sector north of the Alps, will once again bring together industry professionals in Stuttgart, coinciding with Intergastra, the biennial exhibition dedicated to the HoReCa sector. The 10 exhibition halls will offer an extensive overview of products, trends, and technologies related to artisanal gelato, beverages, laboratory and kitchen equipment, raw materials and food products, software and management systems, as well as indoor and outdoor furnishings and fittings, thereby highlighting the entire supply chain.

The Gelatissimo Cup, with Conpait as its official partner, is highly anticipated. The Confederazione Pasticceri Italiani will represent confectioners and gelato makers with the goal of promoting the artisanal excellence and innovative strength of Italian pastry and gelato production, recognized internationally. The event will also feature demos, conferences, and masterclasses. Furthermore, in collaboration with the Italian association Gelato e Cultura, Gelatissimo will host the German qualifications for the German Team in preparation for the Gelato Europe Cup at Sigep 2027. Artglace will be present at Gelatissimo for the first time with members from all over Europe, and there will be ample opportunity to discuss the “Taste of the Year”, chosen to celebrate Gelato Day, the European Artisanal Gelato Day.

With a wide network of companies, institutions, and experts, Italcam – the Italian-German Chamber of Commerce Munich-Stuttgart – promotes and supports the culinary culture of both countries, as well as business opportunities, craftsmanship, and trade fairs related to the sector. Together with Italcam, and in collaboration with Editrade, a media partner specializing in the gelato and pastry sector, Gelatissimo presents a Lifetime Achievement Award annually to gelato makers who have distinguished themselves through their professional excellence.

A key advantage for exhibitors and visitors is the location of the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre. It’s just a short walk from the airport, situated directly at a motorway exit, and boasts fast urban rail (S-Bahn) and underground (U-Bahn) connections directly to the city center, with no need to change. Soon, the fair will also have its own long-distance train station, and combined with

clear hall organization and excellent logistics, this will ensure an optimal experience for visitors.
