With Flower, the exclusive container made by Medac, each one of these small daily gestures gets a makeover with a completely new, original, and... flavourful look. Perfect for holding both sweet and savoury specialties, it is a highly creative solution that generates concrete value for pastry businesses. Its innovative reach is significant, considering its design and how it contributes to accessory management at the point of sales. The name, after all, wasn’t chosen by chance. Flower is made of four “petals” that can be closed with a simple hand gesture, protecting the fragrant contents: tartlets, beignets, puff pastry mini cannoli, canapé, gourmet finger foods, and every type of frozen, refrigerated, room-temperature or warm product (up to 70°C for one hour). In the same way, these flaps open up like a flower blooming in the springtime, giving an elegant touch to whatever contents it is carrying as a gift. Flower, therefore, does not need a lid and makes wrapping ribbons unnecessary: its graphic design Artistic petals is so cared for that it is easy to admire it in all its details. It is available in two sizes, 200 and 570 ml, and in six versions (pink, red, yellow, rose, sky, face). And just like the flowers that inspired its creation, Flower is designed in consideration of nature. It is made with paper derived from pure virgin cellulose and once it has been emptied of its contents, it can be disposed of with paper recycling. In this way, after having finished the regeneration process, it can be used again as recyclable paper for packaging, contributing to the reduction of waste that can compromise the ecosystem’s balance. The container reflects, all in all, the basic principles of Medac’s sustainability strategy: the company has been certified as UNI EN ISO 14001 “Environmental management systems” since 2006. 88
