Sial 2026: the future of food in Paris, driven by innovation and business

Sial Paris will return to Paris Nord Villepinte from October 17 to 21, 2026, reaffirming its role as a key international event for food industry professionals and a strategic observatory for trends shaping the future of food. With 85% of exhibition space already booked, 8,000 exhibitors expected, 295,000 professionals anticipated and over 280,000 sqm of exhibition space across 10 sectors, SIAL Paris 2026 confirms both its global reach and the long-term commitment of companies across the entire agri-food value chain. Italy, Spain, Turkey, Greece and France currently rank among the top exhibiting countries, highlighting the strong participation of Europe’s leading exporting nations.

Innovation will once again be at the core of the event. SIAL Innovation will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a renewed format, integrating SIAL Taste and placing tasting experiences at the heart of the innovation journey, allowing visitors to discover, understand and experience the food of tomorrow. Around 650 start-ups are expected across the dedicated SIAL Start-Up area and exhibition halls, with the Start-Up Pitch offering emerging companies increased visibility and direct access to investors, buyers and partners.

Sial Paris will also bring together international experts, researchers and decision-makers through SIAL Summit and SIAL Talks, addressing key industry transformations. Topics will include future food systems towards 2030, the role of data, traceability and AI in reshaping the agri-food sector, and evolving consumer expectations around health, pleasure, personalization and new consumption habits. Sial for Change will highlight CSR initiatives, promoting responsible innovation through dedicated competitions and talent development programs such as SIAL Jobs.

Designed as a dynamic and experiential trade show, Sial Paris combines business efficiency with networking opportunities. In 2026, the event will introduce an AI-powered matchmaking platform to facilitate targeted meetings between exhibitors and buyers. This will be complemented by a new Meet & Match area, an enhanced Business Lounge and speed meeting sessions aimed at maximizing business opportunities. Visitors will also be able to join guided SIAL Tours, led by expert partners, to explore specific sectors and key themes of the exhibition.
