Sirha Bake & Snack redefines contemporary bakery

The Porte de Versailles exhibition center concluded Sirha Bake & Snack 2026 on Wednesday, January 21st. With 450 exhibitors and brands from all sectors – raw material suppliers, ingredients, equipment, snacking specialists, coffee roasters, entrepreneurs, and industrial players – including 130 new participants, the event confirms its status as an unmissable B2B appointment. The strong international presence highlighted the growing global interest in the French Bakery sector. The participation of bakery-style catering, snacks, and coffee shops, alongside major franchise chains such as Boulangerie Louise, Café Joyeux, Columbus Café, Feuillette, and Marie Blachère, testified to the event’s strategic role as a platform for sourcing and inspiration. Major retail chains, including BHV, Bon Marché, and Printemps, were also present to develop their food & beverage offerings.

The 2026 edition highlighted a sector undergoing deep transformation. Snacking, now a strategic engine for growth, occupied over 2,000 m², accounting for 23% of the total exhibition area, confirming its central role in the revolution of the bakery model. This dynamic was praised by Serge Papin, Minister for Small and Medium Enterprises, Trade, Crafts, Tourism, and Purchasing Power, who visited to witness these developments firsthand. From hybrid concepts and ultra-fast dining to the rise of vegan options and expanding franchises, exhibitors described a supply chain in full regeneration. Similarly, the Start-Up hub embodied the sector’s ability to continuously reinvent itself. Featuring the 7 winners of the Sirha Bake & Snack Awards and the 22 Pépites de la Boulangerie (selected by Honoré Le Mag in collaboration with the FEB), these innovative entrepreneurs provide concrete solutions to real-world challenges. Together, they prove that an ancestral profession can also be one of the most dynamic in contemporary food service. Sirha Bake & Snack supports these talents, providing them with visibility and credibility among key decision-makers.

There was no shortage of emotional highlights. The Bakery World Cup, the French Schools Cup, the International Trophy of French Pastry, and the European selection for the Pastry World Cup thrilled visitors. Notably, France confirmed its excellence in pastry by winning this continental selection, following its 2024 victory. After two days of intense competition, South Korea won the Bakery World Cup, with Chinese Taipei and France completing the podium in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.

Sirha Bake & Snack redefines contemporary bakery and invites you to January 2028 to continue this journey of transformation and innovation.
