The ingredients for success GELATISSIMO On February 3 - 7, 2024, professionals from the world of gelato will meet at Stuttgart (Germany) during the upcoming edition of Gelatissimo. As is customary, the exhibition, which takes place every two years, will present everything necessary to set up a successful gelato establishment: ingredients, gelato machines and equipment for the production kitchen, refrigerated counters and display cases, containers and accessories for take-away, installations and furnishings. Gelatissimo will take place simultaneously with Intergastra, the tradeshow specialized in hospitality and culinary arts with over 115.000 square meters of exhibition space. With the two concurrent fairs, it will be possible to find everything necessary to pair your gelato offer with the most advanced ideas in the culinary world. To complete the offerings, there is a pavilion hall dedicated to trends in the beverages and coffee industry. The gelato tradeshow in Stuttgart also represents an occasion to learn about and evaluate trends in the industry. Particular attention will be given to solutions with a low environmental impact. Specialized operators are increasingly more sensitive to being environmentally friendly, and they are preparing accessories made with recyclable materials and machines with low energy and water consumption. Passionate challenges The best gelato maestros will be called to challenge each other at the Grand Prix Gelatissimo, which has reached its fifth edition. During the first three days of the competition, participants will compete in the creation of hazelnut, yogurt and strawberry gelatos. An expert jury will select the respective winner for each day of the competition and the winner will receive a Vespa. The three winners will then qualify for the final, which will see them compete in making a mango sorbet. The final winner will receive the “Coppa Gelatissimo” trophy. On the last day of the exhibition, Intercoppa will take place. It is a competition among fifteen of the best gelato chefs who stood out during the previous four editions of the Grand Prix Gelatissimo.
