China actually closed its borders for a few years, at least in terms of willingness to host foreign businesses at its events, and even the 2023 edition saw fewer Europeans than usual. This made our presence even more significant, the event seeing more than 150,000 visitors to the 200,000 square meters of exhibition space, with more than 50 nations hosted. The event was held within the Shanghai Sinoexpo under the guidance of Informa Market International Exhibition Co. and organizations such as the Shanghai Cuisine Association, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-Products to name the most influential.
