Maurizio Manzi, as Ambassador for AIG, at the Melbourne Italian Festa
The 2023 edition of the Melbourne Italian Festa took place at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton, providing a special occasion for fans of Italian culture in Melbourne. It wasn’t just a day of celebration but a true immersion into the richness of Italian culture, spanning from food to music, art to regional traditions.
This year, Maurizio Manzi, as Ambassador for AIG – Associazione Gelatieri Italiani, made a live demonstration preparing a gelato with panettone and a dark chocolate waffle.
The demonstration was enriched with practical insights into crafting high-quality artisanal gelato and the characteristics that make it one of the symbols of Made in Italy on the international stage, distinguishing it from “ice cream.” With this event, Maurizio Manzi aimed to promote and enhance the excellence of italian artisanal gelato worldwide.
